10+ Creature Types, 5+ Gifted Types! No App, Word Count, or Character Cap Character & Plot Driven Site The Past, The Present, or The Future… Where will your story take you? The Past is the medieval times, where the Creatures (vampires, werewolves, etc) are in control. Each creature type rules their own kingdom, but they are still opposed by the Hunters. And then there are those humans who choose to submit to the creatures, believing that they have chosen the winning side. The Present is the modern-day era that we know. Those who have gifts, whether by magic or as a creature, are in hiding because their numbers are few and they fear persecution by the Templars and Hunters who seek to destroy them. The Future is a totalitarian government, full of dirty technology and controlled borders. Those in power wish to control every aspect of your life because they claim it is for the greater good. The question is, how do you see it? Which world do you live in, and how will your character(s) cope with the limits placed upon them?

    Vault 713

Look in the Mirror of Erised. What do you see? Are you wielding the sword of Gryffindor? Scoring the winning point in Quidditch? We all know how the story goes: a boy's parents are murdered, he goes on to help save the entire wizarding world, nineteen years later he sends his children off to boarding school to make their own futures. But what about everyone else in that story? The countless witches and wizards who fought at the Battle of Hogwarts, the ordinary people who saw flocks of owls in broad daylight one afternoon in Little Whinging, the students who had their house points snatched out from under them because of some overachieving Gryffindors? At Vault 713, the story is yours to tell. This is the wizarding world as we know it. Venture into our fixed timeline forums to explore life as one of the founding students of Hogwarts, attend a seance in the Victorian Era, go hunting for beasts in the Roaring Twenties, pick a side in the first Wizarding War, and more. If that's not enough for you, our sandbox forums allow you to explore just about any story you want: if you have a character that you've been dying to fold into the Harry Potter universe but can't find a place for it, we're here for you and we can't wait to see what you're cooking up. All players are welcome here, and just like Hogwarts, we will always be a home to those who need it. Check out our fast facts below, read one of our getting started guides, or pop on the forums to see what we've got in store. We're here to make the magic happen, and all we're missing is you! Vault 713 Fast Facts Account Types: Account Per Character for our timelines, Account Per Player for the sandbox Activity Requirements: 1 post per character per roleplaying season, which run four months at a time Post Length Requirements: None. We're here to encourage creativity, so write what you feel you need to! Playby Restrictions: None—well, almost. We do ask that you avoid nudity, drugs, and alcohol in playby images out of respect for our players who may be browsing at school, at work, or around younger children or siblings. As far as photos, playby claims, illustrations, you name it? The choice is all yours! Do you allow LGBTQ+ Characters? Nonbinary Characters? Diversity? Of course we do! Our existing player base has a wide collection of diverse character types and as a rule, our character sheet does not ask for your character's sexual identity, gender identity, or ethnicity unless you choose to include it. Your site looks huge. Will I get lost? We hope not! Our staff team and members alike try our hardest to make sure that everyone is included, and we do mean everyone! Let us know what you need via PM, our Help Desk forum, or Discord, and we'll be happy to serve as your Marauder's Map to get you back on track.

However, your story has yet to begin and where you might end up is entirely up to your imagination. Dare to roam the lands of Revaliir and discover the truth of yourself. What does fate have in store for you? Well, my friend, that is entirely up to you. You can’t conclude a story that you haven’t even started. Come explore the lands. From the all too perfect streets of Egjora to the mysterious roads of Abed. Danger lurks in every corner if one isn’t too careful. Get lost in the Feeorin Forest but beware the call of the fey. One might even get lucky enough to end up next to a deity in the tavern. The possibilities, the stories, the myths… They are endless and entirely up to you. Revaliir’s community is one of the most enthusiastic, heartwarming, and accepting places on the face of the net. We strive to make sure that not only do you find a home but also that you are treated like family. The goal of Revaliir is to make sure that harassment is not tolerated, that everyone feels accepted and that everyone enjoys their time here. We, the community, are the heart of the site. come for our stories; stay for our family... HIGH FANTASY | 80+ SPECIES | WELL ESTABLISHED | 10+ WORLDS forum - website - newbie guide - mentoring project - the plot ...and the freedom to do what you want, instead of what's expected. I'm here to advertise By Tooth And Claw Dragons: an original fantasy role-play over sixteen years old. Located on Jcink and very well established, we are an immersive high fantasy role-play set in a number of alternate dimensions, or 'Realms'. We have over seventy species to choose from, including custom-made ones and all things traditional; as well as the ability to suggest and create your own. Abilities and powers are nearly unlimited - hybrids are allowed and encouraged. Our role-play is split into three different categories. BTACD has a primary plot-based role-play section, where the main sitewide plot is played out in a series of subforums divided by world - where miniplots tie directly into the main storyline, and large battles, changes in royalty, Realm occurrences and large plot events can affect everyone and everything. The second primary section is lore-based, an AU fantasy sandbox, where you make your own plot, completely unrelated to the main overarching plot, set in the forum's worlds and using its lore, species and relative history. Lastly, we have unrelated one on ones; a place where members already involved in Main can role-play whatever they wish. The possibilities are endless in this section; it can be modern fantasy, realistic wolf, warriors, post apocalyptic, twisted horror - anything and everything, as long as it falls beneath the rules, can be done here. As we have lots of information on our website. For new members, we've created a mentoring program - pairing an older member with a newer to answer questions, begin role-play, and guide them through the worlds and Realms until they're able to fly on their own. Come experience the nearly-unlimited freedom of creativity BTACD prides itself in, and let your dreams run wild! The links above should answer all of your questions, but if you have any others, feel free to PM or post here with anything you need. 🙂 Other things we have to offer:: character adoptions; anything from a fully-formed charrie to offspring to a simple concept main plot-specific position openings; the ability to take a position with ready-made character, or the ability to create a character to fill plot events that affect everything; large battles, Realm changes, tournaments, etc an endless possibility of things to do! We're always looking to improve and build upon what we have, and are always looking for member feedback. At this time, we have no member cap; we're seeking newbies to come have some fun, so stop on by! Enjoy, and let's get this party started~

INFO | CANONS & POSITIONS | WANTED-ADS | AFFILIATE INFO | CANONS & POSITIONS | WANTED-ADS | AFFILIATE UPDATE! The head leader of Astrum had released a mutated pneumonic plague strain in both the Outskirts and the Capital after two other leaders deemed themselves traitors and opened the protective dome of the Capital to try and prevent her from releasing the gas. Betelgeuse, the enemy faction, then infiltrated the Capital and conducted war. While several groups crippled vital production facilities for food and power, a stealth team managed to assassinate the leader. However, it was already too late by then. Betelgeuse withdrew and fled into the desert to find new territory where they could regroup and plan their next course of actions... In doing so, they will discover three other citystates: Naibala, Kraibor, and Ukiyo. ORIGINAL There are two types of people: those with magic (kismets) and those without (ordinaries). It used to be that those without magic were the majority and ruled over everything they could and could not see. Kismets hid in fear, but over time they were the ones to weasel their way into power. And now it's the ordinaries who are the oppressed. Fifty years ago, a plague hit Astrum (our current citystate/location). The centre of Astrum - where the majority of the government and schooling took place - had closed itself off to the outer rim of the citystate, ultimately leaving those in that area without food, power, or running water. Many died, but many persevered. They took this opportunity to make a utopia for kismets by kicking out all ordinaries from the centre (which came to be known as "the Capital"), claiming they had the plague even when they didn't. However, the Capital has pushed its oppressed population too much. With the Outskirts deemed safe for the past 30 years, the Capital is trying to wipe out ordinaries (and all the kismets who reside with them) once and for all with bio warfare. But the Outskirts is fighting back. Will you join the fray? • Events to progress site plot which can go in any direction thanks to member involvement • Unconventional soulmates; they don't have to be romantic. They can be family members, such as siblings, or even arch nemeses • Small community - getting involved will be easy with a smaller community. We're more than happy to help you settle in.
